Is it time for a Website Redesign?

Your website is often the first impression potential clients have of your business. If it’s outdated, slow, or difficult to navigate it’s likely costing you opportunities.

A website with design and performance issues makes you seem unproffesional. Poor UX causes frustration to the users, making them bounce (leave the website) and go to a competitor. If one or more of the following applies to your website, you probably need a redesign:

  • Website is outdated and no longer reflects your brand
  • It is difficult to use on mobile devices
  • It is slow to load or frustrating to navigate
  • It is not generating enough leads, sales, or engagement
  • It does not resonate with your audience

Website Redesign Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions related to our Website Redesign services. Can’t find what you are looking for? Feel free to ask.

The cost of a complete website redesign depends on the condition of your current site and the goals for the new one. In some cases, redesigning can take as much — or even more – work than starting from scratch, especially if your current site uses outdated tools or isn’t well-maintained.

In both cases, your hosting and domain usually stay the same, unless a change is needed. We can often reuse parts of your existing content and structure — or help rewrite/update it if needed.

If you’d rather we only make the designs of your website in figma — which you can later hand off to a developer — that’s possible. Check out our UI/UX page.

We work exclusively on WordPress. If your website is not made with WordPress, there are two options:

  1. We can redesign it on WordPress from scratch. (With the same domain and hosting, unless needed otherwise).
  2. We can rework the UI/UX of your website in Figma. You can later hand off the file to your developer. More info here.

The timeline for a redesign depends on page count, complexity, and technical requirements.

Small/medium websites typically take 2-6 weeks. Larger websites, like complex e-shops, can take 4-8 weeks, or more, depending on the scope.

Feel free to contact us with details about your site, and we’ll provide a personalized time and cost estimate.

If it needs to, yes. There are many factors that influence the success of a website, from its content, to its layout, its performance, and so on. If such things are holding your website back, they should be reworked.

After a website redesign, search results might fluctuate slightly for a short period of time. After that time, they usually get back to normal, or better.

The way results are affected depends on the extent of the changes to the website. For example, if copy and URLs get reworked, Google needs some time to properly re-index it.

A well-designed and well-built website can definitely bring you more leads, and even help convert them to clients.

However, for meaningful impact, you will need a digital marketing strategy. SEO is one of the most cost-effective options for digital marketing. Check out our SEO services if interested.

The web evolves constantly — not just in terms of technology, but also in design trends, user expectations, and accessibility standards. A site built even 5 or 10 years ago can feel outdated today, which reflects poorly on your business.

But it’s not just the web that’s changing — society, norms, and how we interact online evolve rapidly as well. Your website should reflect the present, speak to today’s users, and align with current brand goals. If it no longer does that, it’s probably time for a redesign.

As a general rule, most websites benefit from a redesign every 3–5 years, though this depends on the site’s quality, performance, and how well it has been maintained. In the meantime, it’s always a good idea to make smaller updates every few months — for SEO, usability, and to keep things fresh.
